330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Piney and fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of orange and mandarine, hints of grapefruit and lemon, caramel malty and minimally sugary, crastyl malty background. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, bitter and citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, orange, mandarine, grapefruit, some orange zest; full body, lasting bitter finish. Wow! This has really a punch... and is definitely a step forward in the SHIPA series; beefy, focussed, superb balance of controlled orientation and released, naturally emerging dirtiness.

Bottle. Clear amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is grassy, piney, some mango. Taste is piney and mango again, vienna malt backbone with not much sweetness, sticky hop juice, herbal-earthy, slightly warming bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel, rather low carbonation. Very good!

0,33 l bottle from Brolters, Bremen. Unclear bright orange in the glass, one finger frothy head. Yeast and mango on the nose. Taste is grain with eggs and wheat, cold smoke breath, some pepper. Sorry, again I didn´t find a relationship to a SHIPA..

23-12-16 // bottle. Pours a clear golden beer with a solid white head. Hoppy nose. Not the best of the SHIPA series but solid. Malty backbone with light bitter hop note. Grassy, mild citrus.

Fresh floral nose. The beer starts mild and bitter piney with lots of hop-sirup. Not much sweetness there, very sticky and intense. Lemon, fresh and intense, very round and refreshing, a very great combination - the hops are extremely fresh and intense. Great stuff!

Bottle from P&M Getränke Bonn. Orange in the glass with a white head. The nose is very fruity, floral and nice. The beer starts very intense, dry, floral and slightly sweet. The hops are a bit pushing, not round, but I think it is due to the typical Amarillo aroma. The aftertaste is long, quite sweet, caramel, malt, with sweet floral hop. Probably even too sweet for me. A slightly bitter note in the aftertaste as well that fits in well.
for me this beer is too sweet, too much sweetness in combination with the peach-like floral hops. --> 11/12/10/11

Intensiver, fast beißend grasiger Geruch. Grasiger Antrunk, etwas trocken, milde Herbe. Geringe Malzigkeit, keine Fruchtigkeit, frisch. Monoton, hier gefällt die Tatsache aber. Langer Nachhall, weich, stärker herb als zuvor. 12/10/11/12/11/11

Recht hopfiger, z.T. drängender Antrunk. Stark hopfig bleibend, geringe Süße, sehr grasig. Würzig herb, intensiv, starke aber weiche Bitterkeit. 10/12/11/11/9/10

Bottle: Cloudy, amber coloured with a loose, but big, off-white head that slowly collapses, distinctive herbal to piney hoppy nose, supported by some caramel; soft and relatively light bodied, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; dryish hoppy-fruity-caramelly finish, with some residual hops sticking to the palate. Good and well balanced…
