Seitdem die Franken das Weizenbierbrauen wieder für sich entdeckt haben, entstehen hier so prächtige Weißbiere wie die Nothelfer Bio-Weisse. Sonnengelb mit deutlicher Hefetrübung strahlt es unter dem blütenweißen, festen, fein- bis mittelporigen Schaum. Das Bier versprüht einen Duft von Honigmelone, grüner Banane und Mostbirne, sanft unterlegt von Getreidenoten. Schon der erste Schluck vermittelt Frische und ein wunderbar wohlig-weiches, samtiges Mundgefühl. Aromen von fruchtiger, vollreifer Banane und im Abgang intensive Gewürznelke und Anis entfalten sich im Mund und wecken die Vorfreude auf den nächsten Schluck dieses ausgewogenen Weizens.

Herrliche trübe Farbe. Enorme Menge Hefe, die da durchs Glas wabert. Das sieht ja schon mal richtig toll aus. Kräftiger Antrunk, läuft dann deutlich schlanker aus. Fruchtig / herb / getreidig. Recht lecker. Ein gutes Weizen und das dann sogar noch Bio.

Bottle. Blonde, cloudy. Banana, yoghurt and citrus in both aroma and flavor. Some soft yeasty notes. Great summer beer.

Keg at GBBF '18, day 2, 08/08/18. Hazed golden yellow with a decent off white cap. Nose is banana, clove, mixed spice, breads, straw. Taste comprises bread dough, citric peel, light banana bread, clove, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent hefe.

GBBF Day 3. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Creamy sweet malts,. Sweet floralness well blended with banana esters. Light citrus underneatg, Smooth finish. Clean German beer.

Bottle. Milky yellow, offwhite head. Dry spicy nose, some clay, some banana cake. Medium body, creamy. Minerally on the palate. Berry banana pie. Could be cleaner.

Bottle. Pours murky amber. Aroma is some banana and clover, also some herbs and cream. Body is medium, cheesecake, sweet, banana. Not the most accessible Hefeweizen. Minerals, earth, chalky. Rather dry palate for a Weizen. Good.
