Svart med ett ganska litet skum. Doft av kola, knäck, farin och lite blåmögelost. Smak av belgisk jäst, nötter, lite rostning, kola och lite väl mycket alkohol. För ung och tunn nu, men vinner säkerligen på lagring.

Flaska från SB, 2017, 14.0%. Mörk brunsvart med liten moccafärgad krämig krona som hänger längs kanterna. Stor maltsötma, russin, katrinplommon och kandisocker i doften. Stor, tjock, nästan massiv kropp med bra värme i. Smaken samma som doften med lite mer utav lakrisal, tjärpastill och läkerol. Lättdrucken och välbalanserad för sin storlek och styrka. Drag av dessertvin men snällare i sötma och lite mer utav rostade toner och råg. Tycks ha tjänat väl av lite ålder.

Flaska från SB. Ett par år gammal. Närmast svart, klar vätska nästan utan skum. Choklad, billig cognac, anis, rostad malt, mörka plommon. Lite spritig och rivig fortfarande men helt ok.

Note : bottle sais 14 % ABV, rather than the 12.5 registered here. Pours nearly black, mild red glow breaks the total abscence of color. small tanned, but very creamy, and stable head. Smell is roast, tar, mild acidity -from the roastyness, I assume . Fruity undertone ( red fruits) Taste is surprisingly soft and mellow. Sweet, roasty, but not nearly as tar as thought. Bit harsh in alcohol, but certainly not sour, in contradiction to the scent. A very strong beer, perhaps simply to alcoholic ( i wonder why this is neccesary ) but quite good, to my own surprise. Taste is much better than the scent though

Svart med lavt beige skum som blir helt borte. Røkt lukt, gammelt bål, animalsk mot lær og blod. Fyldig. Salt lakris, noe røkt trevirke, mørk sjokolade, lett sødme mot mørke frukter og alkohol. Middels lang

Bottle. Wooden, spongy and iodine aroma. Dark brown, foamy brown head. Medium full dry body, iodine licorice salts, light vanilla. Quite dry. Herb and licorice aftertaste.

Bottle, many thanks konstifik! Darkest brown color with white head. Aroma is chocolate, molasses, woody, iod, liquorice. Taste is chocolate, molasses, iod, even seems like it’s been barrel aged, also liquorice. Medium carbonation, full-bodied. Quite nice!
