3/5/2022. Bottle courtesy of Marek, cheers! Pours clear bright golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, malt, caramel, citrus, grass. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, average carbonation. Looked very nice. It's ok.

Barwa złota, klarowne, piana biała, średnio obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie słodowe, lekko zbożowe. W smaku słodowe, lekko ziołowe. Goryczka średnia, piwo nieco wodniste, zwłaszcza jak na marcowe, wysycenie średniowysokie. Takie sobie.

Bottle picked up from MPREIS, Leutasch and consumed at our log cabin that we're staying at in Reindlau, Austria Wednesday 29th December 2021, listening to Snapped Ankles - Come Play the Trees, still about to start cooking Chilli con Carne. Pours clear pale gold with a little chill haze, there is a mid sized white head. A pleasant maltiness, dry, not as sweet as expected, a little metallic edge. Fine.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden, foamy head. Hay, grassy hops, malt. Mild dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively texture, dry sweetish finish. Very easy drinking and definitely nothing wrong with it!

Im Glas zeigt sich ein klares helles Goldgelb mit feiner Perlage. Die mittel- bis feinporige Schaumkrone ist fluffig und ganz gut beständig. In der Nase wirkt dieses Märzen eher zurückhaltend. Leichte getreidige bis brotige Malzaromen lassen sich aber vernehmen. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, spritzig und leicht malzig. Der Übergang zum Mittelteil wirkt angenehm rezent und der Körper gibt sich leicht süß malzig mit einem Anklang einer leichten Herbe. Die Vollmundigkeit und Süffigkeit würde ich als akkurat bezeichnen - nicht schlecht, könnte aber ein wenig besser sein. Der Abgang wirkt trotz aufkommender Rezenz eher weich. Auch die Malzaromen kommen noch einmal kurz auf, werden aber rasch von einer deutlicheren Hopfennote abgelöst. Viel gibt es zu diesem Bier nicht zu sagen. Ein mittelmäßiges typisch österreichisches Standardbier ohne erwähnenswerte Höhen oder Tiefen. Einfach gesagt: solides Mittelmaß.
