Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a teku glass. Clear amber brown colour, good creamy tan head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma roasted malt, liquorice, dark fruit, caramel, alcohol. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, roast, liquorice, dark fruit, toffee, brown sugar, spicy notes, warming alcohol. Medium body, cloying oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth malty sweetbitter aftertaste, rich brew, good.

Deep brown pour with a light tan head. Medium bodied. Hey caramel, molasses twang, dark malts, bread dough, spice. Finish is lightly sweet with a spicy finish. Nice.

0.33 l bottle at Ambasada, Zagreb. Dark brown, large firm beige head. Aroma is dried fruit, nutty, raisin, dried cranberries, caramel, cherry brandy. Medium body, sweet, fruity. Intense dried red fruit. Cherry and cranberry. Nice toasty and nutty background. Some spice. Some warmth. A soft toasty touch. Brown bread. Strong. Light bitterness. Creamy, a bit cloying and heavy, sticky for a Doppelbock, but rich, potent and complex.

Bottle from Bierothek. Dark brown, almost black colour. Almost no aroma. Taste is vinegary, acidic, bitter, varnish. Very infected.

Bottle.Almost black colour with off beige head.Aroma is sweet and malty with note of dried berries and hops mild sweet warming finish.

Clear red brown to dark brown beer, big solid creamy beige head, stable, adhesive. Aroma: oxidized, soy sauce, caramel, dried fruits, spicy, some Madeira, Port. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: wow, very weird, very unexpected bitterness, a bit fruity, lots of alcohol, very oxidized, hoppy, some chlorine. Aftertaste: very bitter ending, tobacco, dry, hoppy, very chewy hops, very weird, meh.
