Unsere kastanienfarbene Weißbierspezialität mit feiner karamelliger Malznote, deren Geruch an herbstliche Almwiesen erinnert. Ein süffig, vollmundiger Biergenuss.

Bottle at Klosterbräu Schäftlarn. Amber chestnut, murky. Caramel, pines, walk in the woods. Full, chewy, juicy. Caramel creamy. This I like.
Also we are sitting in the sun in the beergarden on a Sunday. What's not to like....

500 ml bottle. Pours cloudy mahogany red with a big fluffy head. Dry citrus notes, orange peel, some caramel, roasted nuts, earthy notes, estery notes, mint, ice candy? Dry zesty bitterness, some malty sweetness. Full to medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, rather dry finish. A really nice and different Dunkelweizen!

Good beer.
Bottle. Cloudy orange-brown, somewhat unstable brown head. Bananas, dates, green bell pepper, and dry spice-rub aroma. Medium full body, wooden dry - less fizzy than it looks. Grassy leafy notes, light catty, a hint chalk/minerals, dry caramel.

(bottle) Cloudy, dark amber to brown colour with a big and firm tanned foamy head. Citrus-fruity and resiny hoppy aroma with present wheaty notes, as well as hints of caramel, bananas and clovy phenols. Mildly bitter and delicately tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Wheaty base with shades of caramel, bananas and a good dash of citric and resiny hops, lingering in the the dry, mildly bitter and slightly fruity tart finish. Good. 06.XII.17
