Bought at the supermarket next to the museum in Kulmbach. Clear gold lasting white head. Clean helles. Some bite on the finish. Touch of lemon. Fine if not too interesting

A solid straight up lager from Monchshof with a slight fruitiness to it. Pretty good but I their Helles(Maingold Landbier) is better

Bottle from a Rewe multipack. Golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Spicy malty start with some shy hops. A tad spicier than their Bayerisch Helles.

Disappointing, was expecting at least average. Faint aroma, bland flavor, even weak appearance. Not much going for this lager, a hint of bitterness at the finish is the best part.

Bottle from Fristo Getränke-Markt, Stuttgart. Golden color with medium white head. Malty aroma with metallic notes. Taste, sweet malty, corn, with hints of bitter hops, again metallic notes. sweet finish. Well, not very tasty beer.

Clear light golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. A bit watery. 081111

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest dry and spicy, some hoppy notes in the background. Constant moldy note. Not too drinkable.

Bottle. Medium gold with a full short ok lasting head. Mild aroma, some sweet fruit and hop. Flavour is bready hops with a watery mouthfeel. Finish is malt. Dry palate.
