Bottle, 0,5 liter, I like these big German bottles. Color: Slightly hazy golden, dense white head. Aroma: Malty, hints of hop. Taste: Malty, grainy and hay notes, very light fruity hints of stone fruit. Quite smooth and bit foamy mouthfeel, subtle grassy hopbitterness in the background. Medium body, average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light bitterness. Nice typical German Zwickl.

Recht klar für ein Zwickl. In der Nase Maische, im Trunk wie Malzbier, recht süß, etwas wässrig, naja.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest dry. Fine mild bitter notes in the background. Modest spicy. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Not bad.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Minimally grainy, strawy and husky, malty aroma, sweet-ish biscuity undertones, a doughy yeasty touch, mildly floral and fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of apricot and mandarine. Taste is minimally sweet, biscuity malty, minimally grainy, husky and strawy, doughy yeasty, minimally floral and fruity hoppy overtones, a touch of apricot, mandarine and lychee. Very nice,

Pours gold from the bottle with a frothy white head and a light haze. Aroma is rather herbal with mint and parsely at the forefront, and grassy. Sweet up front, but finishes lightly bitter and very dry. Body is a bit watery in places. Not my favorite, but then Im seldom left enthused by Keller beers.
