Bottle. Golden color with white head. Aroma is fruity, some yeast, slightly phenolic, quite Belgian, but also some ethanol (not in a bad way, though). Taste is slightly fruity, some phenols, fruity, a bit straw, warming finish. Medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Perfectly incorporated alcohol. Interesting Pale Doppelbock!

Keg @ the brewery. Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma had malty and caramel notes. Flavor was sweet and clean with plenty of malt notes. Finished sweet and bitter. Clean but lacks hop character.

Hellmalziger, ziemlich laffer Antrunk. 8/7/7/8/7/7

bottle, thanks to Bochum! Clear amber colour, mid-size head. Creamy mouthfeel, very pleasant. Full-bodied, very malty with hints of brwon sugar and caramel. Reounded by some aromatic hops, which gives the beer a dry and hoppy finish with a malty background.

Bottle: Mid-sized, slowly vanishing off-white head, deep golden coloured, sweet bisquity nose with traces of alcohol; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; heavy sweet-malty finish with a good dash of bittering hops in the aftertaste. Quite good, well balanced Doppelbock...........

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a big and quite persistent slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet malty biscuity nose with a touch of marzipan and subtle fruity accents. Sweet flavour, medium to full body with a smooth carbonation. Strong pale and Pilsener-malt character, a bit cookie-like with a moderate residual sweetness and faint fruity compounds; sweet malty finish with a whiff of balancing hoppy bitterness. Not a great achievement but a pleasant to drink pale Doppelbock.
