April fun at Ratebeer Odense. Amber with no head. Aroma of maple syrup with vanilla and a touch of beer. Sweet toffee, maple syrup and winegum flavour.

Bottle @ Ratebeer Odense Spring Vibes, 2024. Pours Amber Dark copper with a bubbly head. Vinous and dry. Woody and slightly oxidized. Quite a lot of vanilla and maple.

Bottle from the source: pours copper with an off white head. Aroma is maple, vanilla, not heavy on the booze, plenty of malt. Taste is sweet, rich maple syrup, mellow vanilla, alcohol well covered. Nice aftertaste. Quite good.

ABV: 13.5%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, dried fruit, maple, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, maple, dried fruit, caramel, vanilla, sweet malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20201219]

Starting from the bottom... I dunno why I drank the whole thing, I can totally understand why people drain poured this, maybe I've always wanted to do a maple syrup chug except malt water. Pretty sure I have a headache now. But abv is hidden I guess. Help

Bottle shared at home with the in-laws - pours amber with a thin off white head. Sweet malty with sweet notes of maple, caramel and some vanilla, light dried fruit shred, brown sugar, has a slight tangy edge as well, medium body, maple syrup laden sweet malty close.
