Smooth sweetish beginning. Round malty body, not too deep with hints of slightly roasted malt. Nice typical "red" malt aroma, smooth with no real bitterness in the end. The body has only hints of grain and a nice subtle malt-characteristic. Quite dry for this style.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Amber-red, with an off-white head. Grainy malty start with some caramel and roasted malts, herbal hops towards the finish.

Bottle thanks to Cuso. Aroma maltz, caramel, subtle fruit. Clear deep amber colour. Poor head. Taste is mostly fruity, though it has some bitter backbone. Caramel, ambiguous fruit flavour. Light light roasted malt. Overall drinkable and refreshing.

(bottle) Clear, ruby amber colour with a beige and short foamy head. Hearty dark and slightly molassy malty aroma with loads of caramel, slighter nutty spots and a whiff of spicy hops in the background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, rather slim bodied with a very soft, if not a bit tame carbonation. Aromatic dark malt character with a caramel-laden taste, also some doughy and chalky notes; sweet-bitter malt-accented finish, again slightly chalky/mineralic with a touch of herbal hoppy spice. 01.VII.14

Bouteille: Hazy, obviously reddish-amber coloured, small but very stable off-white foamy layer; caramelly-toasty nose with a mild, but distinctive herbal-hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, barely medium bodied, but quite soft; mild toasty-malty finish, nevertheless also hop-accented. Nice, well balanced brew…
