Flötzinger-Bräu Weihnachts-Bock, Flasche von Grabsch, Berlin. - Tief goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase bocktypisch breites, süßes helles Malz mit der nötigen Tiefe und leichten Noten von Vanille und Kandis, zarte Kräuter. - Antrunk breit hellmalzig-kandissüß mit kurz aufblitzender Frucht (Birne, süße Zitrone). Milde kräuterige Herbe (Schweizer Kräuterzucker) mit Kandisglasur. Milder rezent, vollmundig, glatt. Im Abgang runde, mild zitronig-kräuterige Herbe. - Routinierter heller Bock, wie alle Erzeugnisse aus dem Hause Flötzinger etwas zu glatt aber sehr trinkbar.

Pours a clear golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is alcohol, malt. Flavour is alcohol, caramel, malt, grain. Medium body.

Golden color with a white and quickly diminishing head. Aroma has notes of sweet malts with marzipan hints. Flavor is sightly sweet at the beginning, malty, alcoholic presence. Light bitterness in the final with a good presence of alcohol in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is sweetish malts, a little bit of a hop counterpoint - you notice that it’s a bit of a stronger beer. Taste is cookie dough, sweetish malts, sweet without really being sweet. Oily mouthfeel, but also a little bit watery. Low carbonation. Just another boring Heller Bock - again, easily drinkable though, but what’s the point?

The beer starts sweetish-malty, hints of honey. The mainpart is quite watery for 7%, sweetish-grainy with hints of bitter hops till the end. The aftertaste is bitter-malty, slightly grainy and sweetish.

Bottle:Clear, golden, small and persistent white head, lazy carbonation, grassy-strawy and sweetish bisquity nose; quite full bodied, quite smooth, moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour; slightly lingering strawy and bisquity finish with a dryish bitterness in the aftertaste. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, würzig, grasig, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr malzig, würzig, leicht süß alkoholisch.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond foamy head. Initially rather discreet aroma, except for some bready (cara-)malty notes and a tinge of alcohol. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy and slightly doughy malty taste with traces of biscuits and some shy herbal hoppy accents; sweet and delicately bitter hoppy finish. Tastes like a profane souped-up Helles. 09.XII.13

Bottle. Golden, few bubbles, low white layer. Light spongy sweet malt aroma. Hayish sugary sweet entry, aromatic honeyish notes, just about enough hop balance but tilted to the sweet side. Oily mouthfeel, full body.
