33cl bottle @hotel room, Rostock. Golden color, thin white head. Grassy, malty aroma. Flavor has grassy hops, malt, quite thin. Refreshing, simple, typical pils.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig hopfig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig bitter, getreidig, grasig.

Clear pale golden colour, average foamy white head, lasts for a while. Sweet grainy aroma, grass, citrus, herbs. Sweetbitter flavour, wee bit spicy, medium body, lively carbonation, bit thin mouthfeel, dry bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Clear pale yellowish golden colour with average, frothy to macropore, diminishing, white head. Grainy aroma, minimally strawy, metallic. Taste is strawy, bitter, chalky, minimally metallic, soft grainy finish.

Rostocker Pils Premium, Flasche von einem Kiosk in Berlin. - Goldgelb, blank. - Säuerlich-herbe Nase. - Antrunk blaß, leicht zitronig; schwache Malzsüße. Auch im Abgang eher fruchtig-mild als bitter. Leicht herber Nachtrunk. Limonadig-frischer Eindruck. - Erfrischend und ohne geschmackliche Härten, aber ein richtiges Pils schmeckt anders. (4.6.2013: 2,5.) Neuverkostung: Rostocker Pils, frische Flasche von Getränkeland, Rostock. - In der Nase generische krautig-zitronenschalige Hopfung, typisch Supermarktbier. - Antrunk schmalspurig zitronenschalenherb mit schwacher Restsüße. Die krautige Herbe geht in plumpe Hopfenextraktbittere über. Schlank, gut rezent. - Simples, eindimensionales Pils ohne jegliche Raffinesse, höchstens als anspruchsloser Durstlöscher zu gebrauchen. Es bleibt bei 2,5. (23.4.2024.)

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of yeast and some unpleasant touch of cardboard. Bitter, dry aftertaste. Just an average Pilsener.

Bottle from Getränkeland, Hvidovre. Clear golden with a big white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. This brings back a lot of memories from a time way before I knew anything about beer. I visited Rostock for a week with the my high school class and we drank a whole lot of this stuff. 181212
