(Draught at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 27 Nov 2016) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, grapefruit, lemon peel and biscuits. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, biscuity malt and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Hazy, amber colored, medium- off white frothy head. Aroma is of some malt, light caramel, fruity, peach, citrus and floral medium hoppy notes. Taste is medium sweet malt and some caramel. medium hoppy aroma of tropical fruit, peach, citrus and some floral notes, some light harsh notes, medium bitterness, dryish finish. Medium-light bodied, soft carbonation. Could use some more body.

Keg at the Bottle Shop - Bermondsey. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Lovely aroma, with juicy citrus fruits, lemon and tangerine, hints of rind and pine needles. Light sweet flavour with pithy lemon, some mineral flint, lemon peel, pale grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pleasant citrus in the finish, some further minerality, citrus rind, dry pale bread. Not bad overall.

Can thanks to Neil at Firkin Ale House Folkestone. Dirty gold brown colour lasting white head. Like a lot of these pale ales, just too many hops and not enough malt. Grapefruit and tangerine aroma. Decent enough, but as I said could do with a bit more body.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit, orange aroma. Tastes much the same, hoppy, mango, tropical fruit, orange. Pleasant APA.

Growler from the Free Beer Co, Den Haag. hazy orange with a fine-grained white head. Notes of citrus hops, light hop funk, lemon zest, herbal hops, some yeast, light malt sugars. Light body, light bitterness, medium to high carbonation, making this a great sessionable ale.

Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Light clean pale malts. Light orangey hops, fresh orange and orange peel. Whisper of lemon. Light and pleasant.
