Bottle. An unclear, amber colored beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has caramel and a touch of something metallic, with yeast and a touch of bubble gum. It’s quite sweet on the palate, with a decent bitterness. Toffee, butterscotch notes and bubble gum lasting for a good while. Medium body, quite pleasant carbonation level. Not my kind of weissbier, not very good actually. 150124

12th Dec 2014: fourth beer on the tasting tray at Altes Mädchen. Hazy, murky old gold in colour with creamy white head. Aroma was of wheat, bananas, vanilla, yeast and a hint of cloves. Taste as the aromas, but a little sweeter than the nose indicated, calming down in the mouth with a mini tartness towards the end of each sip. I have gone off Hefeweizen beers over the last few years, this one revived my interest somewhat.
