One of the brews fermented in two small Islay whisky barrels, imparting aromas of maritime peat. The blend was refermented with golden caster sugar to produce a strong and dry beer.
Finally, it received a large dose of primings to produce a Champagne type carbonation.

Class once again from Mills. Tart and spritzy, with a gentle smokiness in the finish.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Almost clear pale amber, small head. Tarry whisky meets citric tartness up front. Citric with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Citric with smokey whisky and tart white wine. Mild peppery finish. Interesting!

Panda at home, post first tasting back at Canary Wharf, my bad timing ... thanks to the Wingmane for this bottle. Lightly hazed golden to deep orange with a good sized off white cap. Nose is mellow funk, green berry must, dusty fruits, grains, herb. Taste comprises funk, mellow smoked malts, grains, tangy fruit rinds, light spice. Medium bodied plus, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic twinge cloaked in a very subtle smoking jacket. Decent sour ... weighs in below its hefty stated ABV and the smoked / Islay effect is pretty subtle and well balanced.
