500ml Bottle - Light copper in colour. Caramel, berries and some floral notes in the aroma. Fruity and slightly nutty taste with berries, blackcurrant, caramel and pecan nuts detected. A tasty and rather interesting bitter. Relatively complex in some ways.

Medium beige head. Clear amber pour. Light bitterness

Cask at the Head of Steam, Leeds. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of nutty malt, faint fruit. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish.

Cask-conditioned at a Wetherspoons in Wolverhampton, 21/11/2015. Deep amber with a frothy, off-white, head. Sweetish, malty bitter, with a touch of fruit and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

On-tap: clear amber in colour with a small beige head. Nutty malt and caramel aroma. Sweet malty taste with a caramel nuttiness. Lacing and a mild bitter finish. Average.

Bottle at home. Pours copper amber, nose is toffee, biscuit, honey, taste is similar, floral.

Bottle from Crafty Pint. Appearance - dark honey to chestnut in colour. Decent head. Nose - honey, light biscuit and lemon. Taste - big toffee note. Light citrus end. Light dry biscuit note in the background. Palate - close to medium bodied with with a sweet tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - decent bitter. Not sure it’s an ESB.

Bottle from Tesco. Copper with no head and a very small carbonation. Bitter character with toffee notes and a small lingering sweetness.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge Copper with a creamy head. Has a light smooth texture and la pleasant light caramel sweetness.
