Brown and hazy with a lingering frothy head. Aroma has roasted notes, grains, a light berry pleasantness. All rather vague, but still pleasant in a mild mannered way. Taste is bittersweet, with a mild, metallic bitterness taking over the finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Last stop on the brauerei cycling tour around Bamberg. It was killing. I'm dead. But I got there eventually. On a city bike with approximately 5 liters of beer in me. The legs still wanted to continue but I had suffered multiple heart attacks already so I took a more gentle pace after a while. It's not that far in total -not at all- but with half liters being the standard (as in minimum) it is fucking killing. So after that tormenting trip, the beer was good anyway. But if I were to describe it somewhat properly, I'd say it is dark amber to reddish color, medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit sweet, caramelish. My brain stopped working at this point. I just downed it and hoped to survive. 7-3-7-3-14

Een iets donkerdere versie van de lager, of keller, of ungespundetes, of hoe die bieren ook mogen heten. Het is iig weer geniaal
