[Cask at the Weirside, Newbury.] A pale amber pour with a loose white head; grainy aroma; bready body with some light citrus. Disappointing.

Half cask pour at Kelham Island Tavern. Golden pour, creamy white head. Light fruity aroma and taste with a creamy feel. Actually, pretty nice for a GF beer.

Pint can from a Knowle corner shop in Bristol. Pours hazy golden with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, biscuit & hops. Medium body. Moderate bitter finish

330ml draft into a bottle from lowcostbeer. Hazy orange-gold, one finger of creamy looking off-white head, heavy carbonation up the glass, looks an excellent pale. Malty and grainy with citrus hoppy notes, slight earthiness on nose. Smooth tasting, with the malts coming through giving a mild grainy note before hoppy citrus and soft fruity notes come in - if I were to guess would say close to lemon, apricot, mango and grapefruit. Moderate smooth body and soft carbonation. A very good pale.

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 10 May 2024) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, blood orange and black-currant. Fruity taste with notes of citrus, biscuits, black-currant, blood orange, apricots and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, well made and refreshing. Very nice.
From backlog. Can, at The Black Heart, Camden, London. Straight from The Can. Malts, hops, yeast, Fruity, some mild bitterness.

Keg at the Abbotsford. Pours lightly hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light tropical fruit and grapefruit. Taste is resinous. Pithy bitter finish. But a bit thin.
