Draught at the butcher’s. Mild spicy aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Big stable creamy tan head. The flavour is nicely malty, roasted with a distinct and cleansing bitterness. Good spicy hops.

Bügelverschlußflasche ( 100 cl, purchased at the butcher’s shop in Uetzing): Deep golden to light amber coloured, a bit unclear, stable creamy off-white head; sweet (toasted-) malty aroma, some nuts detectable, supported by a very solid, spicy hoppiness - like freshly mowed grass; moderate to stronger bitter-sweet flavour, low carbonation, soft MF; lingering, soft hoppy and malty finish. A very well rounded, well crafted franconian brew, made in a sausage-kettle...........

(100cl swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet, distinctively (chest-)nutty cara-malty and slightly toasted aroma with hay-ish herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate, slightly crispy carbonation. Aromatic cara-malty and nutty taste with light herbal accents; dry and malty sweet-bitter finish. Quaffable, extremely well-rounded Franconian Landbier (14.05.08).
