Our friends at Kiralyudvar Winery in the heart of Tokaj sent us some old, multi-vintage wet barrels. They smelled amazing! As soon as we could, we filled them with light farmhouse/saison wort. For the next year, we checked it regularly and the Tokaj influence was obvious. We bottled everything straight up, wanting to maintain the character as much as possible. The resulting beer is full of creamy, raisiny deliciousness!
