Fläschla: Clear, deep amber coloured with ruby spots, medium-sized creamy tanned that slowly collapses; distinctive sweet-bitter flowery to piney nose with a toasty-caramelly background; moderate to solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, creamy MF; lingering piney finish with mild, but lingering roasty spots. Well balanced, well quaffable...

*Bottle from Schneiders Getränke, Köln. Great mix between roasted malty and floral fresh hops. Hints of pine and citrus over roasted dark grain, nice bittered, intense floral roasted, great!

330ml bottle. Darkest brwon colour with huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Piney hoppy and chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty aroma. Taste is resinous and piney hoppy, chocolately, dark malty basis with subtle residual sweetness, a touch of coffee, some orange, marmalade and tangerine; lasting roasty finish.

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly ruby brown colour with a beige mid-sized foamy head. Herbal-spicy hoppy aroma with notes of nettles, resin and subtle fruity accents, backed by earthy malt and shades of chocolate. Moderately sweet and slightly roasty bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly earthy malty base with notes of chocolate, accompanied by herbal-spicy, slightly resiny hops; medium-dry mildly roasty malty and mildly spicy hoppy finish. 20.VI.17

Dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is leather herbs bonbon licorice. Uncanny. Taste is sweet chocolate with tanines and bitter leather. A bit too heavy for quaffling.

0,33 l bottle, 3,49 € at Craft Beer Kontor Hannover. Murky dark brown in the glass, more than one finger beige head. Fresh floral hopy on the nose. Taste starts strong hopy, licorice, malt and caramell, crisp floral. Really nice.

0,1l from tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien shared through 3. almost black color, small tan head. smells of licorice, earthy notes, light herbal, bit leathery. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, earthy notes, light caramel, light herbal notes, spices. finishes lightly dry with notes of licorice and spices. nice one, easy drinking, could use a bit more complexity but overall quite nice.
