Jack-O's cinnamon and nutmeg aromas recall memories of freshly baked pumpkin pie. It has the ideal balances of seasonal spices with a crisp, refreshing finish. This pumpkin ale pairs perfectly with the transition of summer into cooler days and nights.

12 ounce bottle from a rando Pick n Save. 8/20/20. Hazy dark amber, large fizzy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of heavy spice and oddly reminds me of Pepsi. Some pumpkin in there too. Taste is pumpkin, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, clove. Medium bodied. Too heavily spiced, but not bad otherwise.

Bottle. A-nutmeg dominant, cinnamon. T-nutmeg/cinnamon/allspice, lt/med malt. A bit more spice than most pumpkin pies. I would prefer less spice in a pumpkin beer generally if planning on more than one.

Bottle for $2 at chalet. Looks like cream soda. Typical spiced pumpkin ale nose. Rather mild, comes across like a pumpkin soda. I must say this is better tasting than the majority of the pumpkin beers out there. A decent variation fer sher. Displays its pumpkin prowess without getting in yer face. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is one of the better pumpkin beers I've tasted and I've had lots of them. Good job jack 0. On the finish there is a bit of that pumpkin processed feel to it but that doesn't distract from the overall enjoy-ability of this brew. BTW, good level of CO2 throughout the session.

Bottle from the mixed 12 pack from Market basket. Deep amber color with a small bubbly white head that recedes quickly. Pie spice and cherry? on the nose with little else. Flavor is all spice. Cinnamon nutmeg and clove with some faint sweet malt underneath. Not horrible for a pumpkin beer.
