Can, 6.5% ABV. Very dark brown witn tan head. Sweet malts, coffee, sweet berries, strawberry, light leafy hops, grassy, grapefruit. Medium sweet, a bit less bityter and noticeable sourness. Medium bodied. Bit too astringent, but not bad.

Can from Beerdome. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and moderate hoppy - pine. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 160825

Shared 330ml can with Bob, my house on 10th June 2025, tha can being a gift from a friend. Black body, tanned topping. Pleasant bitter IPA, in fact one of the best BIPA I've had so far (not many to be honest).

The aroma is very hoppy, lots of pine, resin, some herbalism and citrus. The foam is small, beige. Dark and opaque. The body is full. The bitterness is clear. The finish is bitter, intense, lots of hops, resin, coffee, chocolate and citrus.

[33cl can from Beer52 at 6.5% ABV.] A a glossy inky black pour with a fast fading beige head that laces the glass; aroma of toasted malts with a hint of pine resin; smooth and milky in the mouth with the roasted malts predominant; then a pleasantly bitter finish with the hops coming to the fore. A well made Black IPA.

330ml can from Beer52 at 6.5%. Pours black with well formed beige to tanned foam, . Aroma of almond, light roast, citrus, pine and hint of coffee. Taste has a more pronounced roast and coffee like malt with citrus pith and peel, medicinal bitterness and woodiness. Medium bodied, mild dryness, moderate carbonation whereas a softer version would have worked better. Overall though its good.

Lattina. Un arco olfattivo dominato da orzo tostato e caffè. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma color marrone chiaro e dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, caffè, liquirizia, amaretto, frutta secca, pane tostato, luppolo, resina, un accenno di resinoso e agrumi.

Borefts 2024. A black beer with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted dark malt, coffee, resinous hops. Taste of piney bitter hops, dark malt, coffee, long bitter finish.
