La Thunderhop è una birra a tutto luppolo. Di colore biondo con venature arancio, offre schiuma pannosa e densa. Il profumo è una ventata di luppolo fresco, usato in grandi quantità da aroma e anche in un lungo e abbondante dry-hopping. Al naso si avvertono sentori di agrumi (pompelmo, mandarino), frutta esotica e resine. In bocca è corposa, e le note mielate dei malti sono in perfetto equilibrio con quelle amare e luppolate dei luppoli USA. I luppoli usati sono Simcoe, Citra, Chinook e Mosaic. Oltre 100 IBU e 8.7% alc rendono questa birra molto “pericolosa” grazie ad una bevibilità formidabile

Pours orange/light amber with the slightest bit of haziness. Can't get much head, even with quite hard pouring, but it shows good retention, though little lacing. Good enough intensity in a very basic/monotonous aroma: jam-like/overripe fruity notes (mainly orange, a hint of grapefruit) followed by a resinous/piney background. Taste notes don't seem to follow the aroma: quite strong malty sweetness with distinct honey, fruity notes as per aroma, minimal resinous/grassy bitterness, an offbeat earthy bitterness showing up in finish/aftertaste, alcohol too distinct with a bit of a warming note, a light metallic hint. Feels very sweet in the mouth, more balanced in finish/aftertaste but not at all clean or well polished. Overall, there's a lot of sweetness trying to balance the 100 ibus but sweetness and bitterness just don't blend well. Medium bodied with low to medium, fine bubbled carbonation. Feels slightly oily and a bit empty for the abv. This was a fresh june 2024 batch; very disappointing.

Il gusto al naso viene catturato dal luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la continuità olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. La frizzantezza si presenta sotto forma di poche bollicine medio-fini. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato non pesante. L'amaro è deciso e OK secondo lo stile. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sulla lingua si fermano sentori di miele, luppolo, resina, agrumi, pino pesca e ananas.

on tap ambrato scarico velata buona schiuma lupolature leggermente resinosa agrume poco corpo secca discreto amaro

On tap at concordia. light Orange color big White head good persistence. Aroma is huge hop, loads off bittering hops, Raisin, some fruity notes. Full body average carbonation, strong bitter long finish. Intense enough.
