Santa’s Little Helper, our Imperial Stout, starts with an emphasis on dark cocoa and roasted coffee aromatics. The finish lends hints of sweet crystal malt, warming tones of alcohol and a touch of hops, making a perfect accompaniment to leftover fruit cake and sugar cookies.

Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: very dark brown close to black color with a thin cap of an off white foamy head which dissipated inward to barely leave any lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans and light caramel tones
Flavor: leans sweet at first but seems to balance between the roast and the sweet, finishes sweet and roasty
Texture: medium bodied, sturdy sipper, fairly smooth along the tongue, very little roasty harshness
Overall: a very nicely done impy stout very worthy of returning to if I could.

Tap at Pita Kabob in Visalia. Really great and maybe the best batch that I can remember. Complex and tasty.

very dark brown pour, not much of a head, quite small, and brownish. Aroma is quite malty, with some sweet chocolate, and a touch of alcohol. Flavour is very malty, and roasty, with a little coffee, and a little funk.....like a bit of bret? odd.....the fnk is interesting, nie stuff, and extremely drinkable!

Bottle @home. Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma colore cappuccino media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note di cioccolato fondente, nocciola, caffè, leggera liquirizia. In bocca è rotonda, con un inizio abboccato e un finale amaro lungo e persistente a bilanciare. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Splendida.

Bottle. Black beer with a tan head. Chocolate and light coffee aroma with toffee. Caramel and chocolate flavor with coffee and light nuttiness. Medium bodied. caramel and coffee linger with chocolate and light nuttiness.

660ml bottle. Vintage..??? My version was 10,5% Alc. Many Thanks for this Amazing Imperial stout To Jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com) Bottle from Beers of Europe (Norfolk Region). Poured carrefully into small crystal glass (Porterhouse Celebration Stout Barrel Aged Collection) from BOE of course. No to Mikolaj troche mi pomogl w wyborze piwa z mojej piwniczki na swiateczne wieczorne leniuchowanie. Dawno to bylo, ale odlezakowalo sporo, ze sam nie wiem ile, ale ten czas nagradza, mozna sie rozkoszowac. Niesamowite piwo. Ale powolutku. Wyglad najpierw. Czarna oleista barwa, tluste oznaki wewnatrz kieliszka. Piana gigantyczna, trwala, rosnaca sama w oczach, puszysta, kremowa i ciemno bezowa. Zapach, wanilia, mnostwo jej, pewnie od beczki, kawa, szlachetna, mocno palona, doskonale praliny belgijskie, ciemna deserowa czekolada, nieco daktylowej slodkosci i lepkosci, miod gryczany, taki rzemieslniczy, prawdziwy, znow wanilia, doglada co chwile po kazdym nowym odczuciu smakowym. Wytrawne w koncu grzeje przelyk i rozpala, alko w tej tlustosci niesamowicie ukryte, Na koniec gorzki posmak bysmy po tych wszystkich czekoladach nie zapomnieli ze to w koncu jest piwo, nie zwykle, tylko wybitne. Polecam to wyrafinowanych serow.
