16 oz. can. Pours a hazy, yellow color, with an average, rocky, white head. The nose is grapefruit, grains of paradise, lemon zest, juniper, and hay. Dry and grainy, with a bracing, resinous bitterness. Medium, sticky, and a bit astringent. Pretty solid

A bit cloudy golden color and small white head and lace. Sweetish fruityness and citrus in the nose. Medium-bodied. Pinet, citrusy flavour. Crisp and clean.

Rated at Urban Chestnut Grove Brewery and Bierhall. Caramely malty, piney and resinous with some sweetness and floral notes. Okay old skool IPA.

On tap at STL airport. Pours a cloudy copper with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and grapefruit. Slick body, grapefruit, pine, lingering resin bitterness, very good.

Sample at Urban Chestnut Flight Bar. Hazy bronze-gold color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of piney hops, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear copper with a finger of foam that lingers, then dissipates. Lots of toasted caramel, overripe citrus, booze and pine in the nose. More pine on the palate with toasted caramel bready notes and quite boozy. Heavy on the palate with a sweet malt character. Lingering warming finish, and peppery pine. A little old school for the current climate of IPAs. --- Beer merged from original tick of Fantasyland on 27 Jun 2018 at 20:13 - Score: 6. Original review text: Malty, caranelky sweet, boozy pine bomb. Old school.

On tap at GTMW 2017. Pours a clear orange gold with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy grass and earthy citrus with touches of grain and pine backing. Flavor has earthy grains and earthy straw supported by grass, earthy grains and a touch of citrus.

16 oz can from De Bierkoning @ home. Canned 1/17/17 Clear amber/orange color. Rocky uneven off white head. Aroma’s: hoppy, resin, some malts. Retronasal it’s sweet ’n’ bitter. Flavor too, leaning a bit more towards bitterness, but with a firm malty backbone. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Moderate bitter finish. Nice beer, but not the greatest of IPA’s.
