Bottle. Slightly cloudy copper with a nice white head. Mild aroma of malts, caramel and herbal hops. Taste follows aroma plus grains, a hint of sweetness and stale bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Doesn't have much of what I seek and like in a Kellerbier. Not recommended.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, copper-ish brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, a touch of rock sugar, cola, cautious hoppy overtones with a touch of mandarine. Taste is minimally dry and minimally toasty malty, subtle sweetness, a touch of hay, straw and caramel colour (Zuckercouleur).

0,33 l swing top bottle. A darkest copper in the glass, clear with a nearly three finger head. Sweet malty grainy on the nose. Taste starts more flat, low malt. Later increasing grain, some bitter hop in the background. More than average carbonation. Nothing really special.

(swing top bottle, 33cl, courtesy of pivnizub) Hazy, murky amber to brown colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel and metal, the latter fading away when the beer gets warmer. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toasty malty taste with notes of caramel, bread crusts and herbal hoppy spice in the background; dry toast-malty finish with a mildly hoppy bitterness, accompanied by notes of caramel and hoppy spice. Okay. 13.V.16

Bügelverschlußflaše: Hazy, amber coloured, small ’n stable off-white head, slight metallic traces in the quite dry aroma of burnt malt and grains; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, tart MF, a bit fizzy, otherwise light bodied;dryish bitter and grainy finish, some vegetables detectable. As bad as expected…
