Completely clear straw yellow export lager with minimal head. Straight to beech smoke on the nose although not too intense: the malty aromas andd grassy noble hops peek through. The maltiness is well balanced with the smokiness and it's not overpowering but the rest of the beer doesn't match up with it. Not full bodied. Dry. Ok and drinkable but not great.

Bottle 0.5 in Rome-Italy, grazie Daniele. Ancient gold pour, clear; frothy cap. Nose: chestnut honey and smoked provola cheese. Mouth: malty, sweet, honey, leads totally towards honey with a pinch of smoky. Not much of body or roundness, but clean.

bottiglia 50 cl, schiuma biamco sporco fine media persistenza, colore oro limpido, al naso affumicato malto tostato castagne legno, in bocca affumicato malto cereali pane tostato leggero miele, carbonazione moderata, corpo leggero, dolce dolce con amaro leggero. Delicata con affumicato non invadente. Molto bevibile e molto piacevole. c. Birraland.it 09.04.22

Bottle picked up from Hier gibts bier webshop, Eckersdorf, Bayern, and consumed at home Saturday 17th April 2021 listening to Nubya Garcia - Source. We're making homemade Salmon Ravioli. Pours gold with a white head, soft mouthfeel, a little smokiness but really subtle, light hoppiness. A little chewy malt, good but perhaps bettered by many.

Bottle. Deep golden, low carbonation, offwhite head. Light fatty grain, a hint smoke. Chewy fruity base, gooseberry hops, lightly smoked grain, strawberry retronasal. Pleasant chewy and moreish.

500 ml bottle. Clear dark golden, foamy head. Caramel, hay, smoked ham, floral grassy hops. Mild bitterness, malty sweetness, a bit umami. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry malty smoky finish. Good, very balanced.

Flaska från Hier-Gibt’s-Bier. Gyllengul klar vätska med medelhögt krämigt vitt skum. Doft av säd, bröd och lite rök. Medelstor kropp, fruktig, medelsöt, lätt rökig och lött beska. Drickvänlig och trevlig. Mycket snäll rököl.

Yellow amber, clear, great lasting head. Citrus, light smoky nose. Very fine hint of smoke flavor, coffee, barley, smooth mild bitterness, very sessionable!

Nice grainy malty beginning. Very subtle in the smoke, round and mild with a nice slightly sweet malty roasted smokey aftertaste. Nice Dunkel with hints of smoke.
