From tap at Tørst, New York. Aroma has a nicely balanced amount of smoke with darkish malt, caramel, and notes of campfire. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Very smooth for a Rauchbier, delicate drinkability, well-rounded.

16 oz can from Half Time, 12/10/23. Pours brown with a small, fizzy head. Earth, smoke, grains. Chocolate and caramel. Light roast. Tons of flavor, nicely balanced. Very drinkable. Love Dan's lagers, this is no exception.

Light, sweet, malty, fairly heavily smoky. Rich and smooth, some freshly baked rye bread. A little bit meaty. Rauchbiers not usually my thing but this kicks butt.

16oz can pours a mostly clear, nut brown with some clingy off white head. Nose has some sausage, malt, caramelized root veg, dried leaves. Flavor has malt and caramel, a real sausage character now, more like summer sausage than bratwurst, plenty of root vegetables, some earthy nutty notes. Finishes off dry, but pretty long for a beer of this size.

Can. Thanks Vin! Pours clear reddish chestnut, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is smoke, grain, caramel, ash, campfire. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, light plus smoke. Merlin body. Could use a bit more smoked malt, but very drinkable.

I've always listed rauchbier as my least favorite style but man is this amazing, I think the key is having a flavorful finish and not like a weissbier finish or pale ale finish, this has so much flavor on the finish it's like a bbq brisket sandwich.

Draught @ Grand Delancey (2/21/20). Dark brown with red highlights against the light, foamy beige head, smoky caramel aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter caramel taste with smoky flavor, smooth body, long finish. Quite smooth and easy to drink.
