Bottle from bierzwerg. Looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fine fruity aroma. Starts intense hoppy, grasy, more and more soapy and a bit sourish. Dry and bitter background. Fruity notes of grapefruit. Okay.

bottle, Gruß nach Bochum! Hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Malty base with good Franconian Hersbrucker hops, slightly more intensive than in your normal Franconian Pils. Good grassy and mainly resiny flavours, pine needles also there.

Many thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing this bottle! Tolle Hopfenaromatik in der Nase. Das Bier beginnt recht süßlich-mild. Trocken-aromatisch, frisch mit deutlich pinienartiger Hopfennote. Nicht zu floral, etwas enttäuschend. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang, fruchtig-trocken, nicht zu intensiv. Süffig-nett, aber nicht zu spannend!

Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Orangegelb, gut trüb; sahniger weißer Schaum. - Duftet herrlich frisch hopfenwürzig: Heu, Nadelwald, Zitrusfrucht. - Antrunk sehr aromatisch aber mild hopfig: Gras, Kiefer, Pampelmuse und schöne fruchtige Noten, die eher an ein belgisches Obergäriges als an ein Pilsener erinnern. Warmes helles Malz mit zarter Süße. Mild rezent, weich hefiges Mundgefühl. Immer noch fruchtig-hopfenaromatischer aber nur mäßig bitterer Abgang. Erstaunlich schwacher Nachtrunk, dem die erwartete Hopfenbittere fehlt. - Leckeres, unkonventionell aber delikat gehopftes Märzen, das im Abgang leider stark nachläßt.

Leicht trübes strohgelbes Bier mit schöner weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch schön fruchtig malzig, hopfig, getreidig. Geschmack sehr hopfig malzig, fruchtig, leicht bitter im Abgang, gelungen!

(bottle) Almost clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly doughy and strawy malty aroma with a good dash of herbal-spicy hops, including notes of grass and spruce. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Quite dry and strawy malty base with present notes of grassy and herbal hops, lingering into the dry, bitter and delicately sweet finish with hints of spruce and grass. Pleasant. 20.VII.14
