On tap @ Zum Weissen Hirschen, St. Wolfgang. Pale golden pour with one finger white head. Average head retention andll lacing. Usual nose, malty, grainy, some corn, grassy. Thin to medium body, softly carbonated. Regular texture, smooth on the tongue. Mildly bittersweet taste. Aroma also quite usual, grains, malts, corn. Hay and grass notes. Watery and light, very subdued. Mild hoppy bitterness in the finish. Overall, average lager. Good thirst quencher but nothing exceptional. Decent.

(Keg at a biergarten in Linz, 20170529) The beer poured clear and golden. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, metal and mildly grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, metal, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A decent sweetish lager.

Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en vrij krachtig. Het beste van Zipfer wat ik tot nog toe ben tegengekomen, echt goed.

Tap. Clear pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is straw, grainy. Taste is sweet grains, but not too sweet, a touch of earthiness as well. Creamy mouthfeel. Not bad for a Pale Lager.

0.5l bottle. Malty aroma, light caramel notes. Clear, pale golden color, white head. Taste is the same as aroma. Light body, oily texture, average carbonation and malty, wet cardboard, bitter-sweet finish. Average.
