Tap. Clear pale golden colour. Stable head. Classic eurolager, but drinkable. Faint notes of actual ingredients mixed with light yeastiness and light washing cloth.

Pours a clear golden color, toppedwith average frothy white head. Mild malty aroma some notes of grains - pretty basic. tsate is just a tad sweet at first, followed by a decent bitterness in teh finish, Crisp and refreshing, one of the best classic Austrian lagers.

Popular Austrian lager, with a thick, snow white, creamy head and pure light golden blonde colour, clear with calm sparkling. Neutral but genuinely pale malty aroma, some vague sweetishness, hint of iron and weak floral hops. Slick, even somewhat oily mouthfeel, straightforward and somewhat thin, soft carbonation, a bit watery, vague and brief floral hoppiness in the end. Simplistic but clean and pure.

500ml can labelled as 'Zipfer Original'. Grassy, grainy aroma. I think this is the first Austrian beer I have ever tasted, seems pretty anonymous to me, although it isn't a bad beer.

Draught. Clear, yellow to gold body, with a medium, creamy, white head. Aroma of grains, flowers, herbs. Taste is dry, bitter, with herbs, grains and sweet malt. Mouthfeel is medium to light, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes bitter, dry and slightly metallic. Typical, boring Lager, but there are even worse. At least not as sweet and thin as many others, but still far from tasty.

Boks 500ml. Gave fra Rune. Veldig lys gylden. Ser ut som eplesaft med litt bobler. Litt skum som raskt flater nesten helt ut. Syltynn aroma av gress. Smaken er veldig vassen. Litt malt & mais. Antydning til bitterhet etter hvert. Vasken fikk mest.

500ml can, thanks to Stu who salvaged this for me on his recent trip to Vienna. Has that reassuring pale lager sweetness I remember from my times touring Europe. Not had a canned beer for a while and, wierdly, although this isn’t the best beer in the world I actually kinda like it for those great memories drinking average lager like this at 2am on the streets of unfamiliar cities before a long drive the next day. For that I say cheers!
