The elegant beer for connoisseurs who love a light, hoppy bitterness and a refined dry taste. Finest Saphir hops provide the typical lemony aroma and gently kiln-dried malt gives the beer its light color. Lean and vibrant - a first-class Pilsner beer.

New Rating, which certainly is for the right beer: Purchased at Total Wine & More, Fairfax 500ml: Pours a light golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma is fairly light. Hops are there, but in a very mild grassy force. Taste is kind of dry. There is a little bit more sweetness than I would want to have in a pilsener. German style hopping is there, but is also very, very mellow. Olde Rating, which may or may not have been for the right beer: Drank this out of the can that made it look like a really, really cheap beer, but in fact it was quite good. It is a great beer to sit back and relax with on a train as I did. Goes down really easy, but lets your mouth know that it was there for a little bit at least with its slight hoppy undertone. Not very special, but worth having if it comes your way.

Test vom 12.5.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,12,13,12,9,13 - 12,50

Typical average pils here. Pour is a nice blond with a huge white head. Faint aroma of hops but not strong at all. Very clean malty flavor. I had this at the YOHO in Salzburg which is a kick ass place to stay.

Import keg draft Enjoyed this in a heated tent at Chicago’s downtown Kristkindl Market. For a pilsener, it’s kind of light on the malts. There’s a thin but persistent head, a straw colored body with bubbles that don’t stop. Clean lager taste with a light hop balance, not as pronounced as, say, a Pilsner Urquell. Still, nice to have.

Blandish macro-pils that drops nuances of noble hops, hints of bready pale malt and not a whole lot else.
