The elegant beer for connoisseurs who love a light, hoppy bitterness and a refined dry taste. Finest Saphir hops provide the typical lemony aroma and gently kiln-dried malt gives the beer its light color. Lean and vibrant - a first-class Pilsner beer.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 19.02.2015
Aroma is sweetish with butter, grainy malt and some hay. Also grassy hops. Flavour has grainy malt, grassy hops, butter, hay and hints of cardboard. Some lingering grassy hops. A solid pils without anything offensive.

A light yellow beer with a big and white head. Aroma has lots of malts, some honey, fresh grass. Taste has light malts, some honey, grass. Bitterness isn’t very strong but still enough of drying the malts. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, quite smooth. Basic pils, malts and grass.

Bottle 500ml (Alko)
Pale yellow color, small steady white head. Sweetish corn-like maltynes in the nose. Light-bodied. Grainy and quite sweet cornlike malty. Saaz is combined with this sweetness. More on Supermarket bulk than quality German-type pils.

My first beer of the day at Green Week in Berlin on 18th Jan 2014. Draught half litre shared with my wife, served by a guy in national dress and inside a wooden beer garden type of set-up within the Austrian area of the festival. Regular looking lager/pils golden, bright and clean: standard white head which lasted longer than most beers of this type. No great aroma or taste, refreshing and crisp enough but nothing stands out or separates this from the thousands of other lagers/pils in the world. Mr average in all aspects.
