Bottle, 4.9% as Held-Bräu Hell. Weak hayish aroma. Clear golden colour. Big stable chalk white head. The flavour is mildly malty, a bit thin flavour, but clean enough. Also the mouthfeel and flavour are a bit chalky.

Golden colour. Malty-forward aroma with just a hint of grassy hop. Rustic, slightly minerally character. This lends the vaguely bready beer a nice dryness in the finish. Hop flavour is grassy but muted. Not bad - I like the balance.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, large and creamy white head. Superb hoppy nose with hints of honey. I’ve never had a Helles with such an intensive bouquet. Starts rather malty with a sweetish touch of honey and a floral character. Later hops blend in and give the beer a bitter-sweet character. Pleasantl low carbonation. Clean, crisp and full of character - a Helles with its own rural character.

(bottle) Hazy, orange colour with a medium-sized, not very persistent frothy white head. Slightly sweet and minimal acidic yeasty and malty nose with a touch f citrus and a rural barnyard-like touch. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Grainy and slightly nutty taste with traces of citrus; moderately dry, slightly bitter and spicy hoppy finish with notes of barnyard. Pretty rural Landbier (05.X.08).
