(Bottle) Hazy golden amber colour with creamy, tan head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of white bread, banana, clove and apricots. Malty, fruity, spicy taste with wheat, bread, banana, clove, orange and apricots. Low bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Hides the alcohol level fairly well. Balanced and harmonious weizenbock. Very nice.

Bottle at the 'Back to the Roots Classic German Beer Tasting' session. Has a surprisingly Belgian-like, yeasty-boozy character with a hint of hops.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a creamy and lacing, off-white head. Yeasty, fruity nose with some overripe banana. Rich, fruity bananaish notes with a surprising tartness. Some finishing bitterness. Super long since I had this style.

Pour is a hazy gold with a huge white head. Aroma is a small banana with some lactic sourness. Flavor is some chewy wheat malt with banana yeast esters. The sourness on the aroma was not in the flavor. Finish is bubblegum sweetness with an overall banana feel to it. I thought this would be infected but it turned out ok and was just an average at best weizenbock.

16.9oz bottle. Slightly hazy dulled copper body. Steady enough soapy white head. Nothing stupendous, but a enjoyable enough example of the style. A lot of Hellerbock tone, pleasant wheat, great body. Probably a little old, but holds up well. Would certainly like to try it fresh in Germany.

Bottled@SBWF2018. Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is toffee, banana, wheat, some yeast and a wee bit citrus too. Flavour is spicy/yeasty, some wheat, banana, toffee and mild friuty tones. Smooth and very nice body to it.
