Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is tonka, rum barrel, chocolate, nicely aromatic. Taste is good tonka, almost cinnamon, chocolate, not too sweet or boozy. Oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Very nice!

MBCC. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and heavy tonka. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 130522

Bottle from my brother: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is rum, nuts, some cocoa. I have no idea what tonka is so cannot comment on that. It is a fairly sweet stout with mellow barrel ageing and fair complexity. Solid.

Bottle from Brætspilscafeen, Horsens @ Home. Pours black with a small brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, little coffee, chocolate, nuts, tonka, little cinnamon, light bourbon. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, malty, coffee, chocolate, nutty, tonka, alcohol. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation, sweet spicy finish with some warming alcohol. 120322

Slowly building-up tan head during viscously pouring black beer. MINUS a full point for the ridiculous thick wax on the cap. Tonka bean, vanilla, rum, Bourbon, boozy nose. Tonka beans, Clan pipe tobacco, vanilla, cinnamon, cigar wood. Nowhere too sweet, even dry-bitterish with mild roast, bit ashy. Rich, voluptuous, chewy, oily. Mild but present carbonation. Tonka beans??? Yes, and still, I like it. Thanks to Chris Q and the gang!

330ml. bottle. @home, 09/09/2021 [#4.223 Global - #253 Portugal - #50 Dois Corvos Cervejeira] Pours viscosity black with a tiny tan head. Aroma: tonka, cinnamon, wood and light smokey. Taste: tonka upfront with spiced malts and some vanilla. Long roasty and dry finish. Too much. Next one please!
