About 250ml draught at Althaia Taproom. Coal black body, spotty lacing, covering fawn coloured head. Inviting cocoa aromas, mid-sweet. Quite solid, but rather sweet taste of cocoa powder, chocolate, and bread, a backdrop of coffee to a slightly roasted ending. Smooth and sweet. Pleasing. (Altea, 24.02.2024).

Siste kvelden og siste ratingen i Almunecar, på hotellterrassen: brunsvart med eksemplarisk skum helt til bunns. Nydelig sjokoladearoma og -smak sammen med nybrygget luksuskaffe, vanilje, peppermynte og et hint av salt og tjære. Deilig, sjokoladeaktig bitterhet i den tørre avslutningen.

Dark brown, tan head. Aroma of coffee, tar ant mint. Taste of vanilla, mint, tar, chocolate and salty licorice.

Negra con espuma de color tostado, bonito encaje en copa. Aroma a maltas torrefactas con matices ahumados. Sabor ligeramente amargo, tostado, regaliz, café y ceniza. Final nada alcohólico y torrefacto.

44cl can bought at the brewery. Pours pitch black with a dissipating, beige head. Roasty and chocolaty with notes of dark, dried fruits. Smooth and warming with balanced flavours and bitterness. Certainly decent stuff.

440ml. can gifted by Mr. Riveiro, many thanks. @home, 30/08/2021 [#4.210 Global - #829 Spain - #5 Althaia Artesana] Color negro con una espuma beige de corta duración. Aroma: cargado de chocolate negro, caramelo quemado y madera. Sabor: dominio del chocolate y la madera. Final fuerte y prolongado. Muy chocolatera. Next one please!
