(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, chestnut colour with a mid-sized off-white foamy head. Nutty and slightly toasty malty aroma with notes of caramel, hazelnuts, walnuts, as well as subtle citric and herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderately toast-malty base with caramel, nougat and nutty pastry flavours; complex and lasting finish. Really nice. 04.VI.18

Bottle from A to Z. Crystal clear deep golden color fluffy white head with solid lacing. Toasted caramel aroma. Taste is lightly sweet caramel. Highly drinkable

Bottle. Pours copper. Nose is sweet citrus, caramel, citrus, honey, Peach. Palate is sweet apple, peach, some honey, some malty breadness. Very nice.

Amber. Aroma is cocoa dark chocolate wood sugar some whisky dried fruit. Complex. Taste is heavy phenolic malt. Raisins and nutpeel. Also alcohol warmth. Vanilla in the finish. Nice.

Bottle. Strange tartuffo aroma, hazy amber, low grey offwhite lace. Medium full, Nutella and praline, nuts, waffles, some grassy hops, light meaty, nutty oxidized finish, fun.

Bottle from McTapps. Many thanks! Hazy amber colour, white creamy foam. Sweet nose of pineapple, citrus, caramel, honey. Taste is rather sweet, not really outspoken. Balance is ok.

Bottle. Dark orange/amber with a beautiful frothy head. Aroma of grains, caramel, herbs, malty soap, fruity perfume and boozy wood. Taste screams hangover: Malts, syrup, peaches, honey, caramel, toffee, herbs and liquorice. Alcohol is full-on present. Medium to strong carbonation. Complex and interesting - yes. Balanced and enjoyable - not so much. I don't really rate the base beer but this one nevertheless disappointed.
