Taster at brewery. Appropriately named beer as an endless stream of fighters were coming in to Oceana NAS. Orange golden pour with a small foamy head. Fruity aroma, citrus and floral notes. Taste is is sweet and spicy, fruity. Finishes with a gentle bitter bite. Smooth.

From a pint can. Pours a cloudy gold with an off white head. Aromas of dank hay. Flavors are moderately bitter mandarin orange and pine.

12oz can pours a hazy amber with some lacing, white head. Nose has malt, honey comb, some cracker, sticky orange juice, some pine tar. Flavor is sweet with malt, honey comb, some brown sugar, pine tar, soap... weak though. Sweet finish.

Tap. Pours clear golden orange, small off white head, great lacing. Aroma is very light overall, oranges, peach, melon. Medium sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. To sweet, not terrible.

Draft at 2014 Virginia IPA Challenge: Yeasty nose. Clear amber, headless. Very vegetal flavor, celery and boiled cabbage. Tangy. Offensive.

Draft at Know Good Beer Festival, Charlottesville, 5/3/14. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin frothy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of tropical, mango, spicy, resin hops, pale malt. The taste is bitter citrus, orange, tropical hops, doughy malt. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness.
