Draught at the brewpub.
Black body, with a big, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of coffee, cocoa, dark fruits, nuts, some liquorice, slight smoke.
Tastes of coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, liquorice, toast, dark fruits, subtle citric hops.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes roasty, dry, a bit wooden, with coffee, liquorice, toast, cocoa, subtle hops.
Very nice. Full roasty and dry, but also pretty easy, even a bit fresh, because of subtle citric hops. Overall not outstanding maybe, but a very quaffable Stout, I will drink again.

Tap. Black color with small tan head. Aroma is black chocolate, bitter espresso. Taste is the same, slightly watery mouthfeel. Good, but a bit too watery. Easy to drink though.

Very nice. Roasty, with a lot of coffee, but still quaffable and quite easy. The creaminess is the highlight for me. Overall enjoyable, but I liked the previous Eegit’s Oatmeal Stout they had many years much more.

getrunken 2010 vor Ort vom Fass Damals war mir das Bier eindeutig zu bitter und voll, daher hat es mir zu der Zeit überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Es war ein halt ein wirklich starkes Stout mit ordentlichen Schoko- und Kaffee-Aromen, welche wohl neben dem recht süffig-süßen Guinness schnell einen unerfahrenen Biertrinken überforderten.
