Sour Wheat Beer, once an icon of the city of Berlin, home to the troubled 1936 olympics homaged in the label design. We add 100 kg of raspberries and 10 kg of basil to every batch: its vivid pink colour will seduce you, together with its rose, lemon and red fruits scent. It is light, sour and refreshing. We would call it a comfort beer.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is tart and sweetish raspberry, wheaty malt, herbal notes with a touch of basil, tart red fruits. Flavour is tart and moderate to medium sour. Body is light. Nice and very drinkable, tart and slightly sweet, good raspberry and basil combo. Good!

From tap at L’Asinella 13.08.21. Translucent dark straw colour. Quickly diminishing white head. Aroma and sour taste of raspberries, redcurrants, gooseberries, rhubarb, basil and lactic acid. Good drinkability.

Tap at Walters & Grappa, Riga. Pours amber-reddish. Aroma and flavor are berries, sour, acidic, fart, watery. Overall: disgusting, and very over priced with 4.5E price tag.

A pale pink sour Weisse with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fruity tart cherry, raspberry, Epsom salts, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light lemon, light raspberry notes, light Epsom salts, very nice and refreshing. Bottle at Mondial 2018.
