(Draught at King's Arms, Bethnal Green, London, 20 May 2023) Pale amber colour with brief head. Malty nose with bread, caramel, dried fruit and treacle-toffee. Malty taste with notes of caramel, toffee, dark bread, grain, grass and a balanced herbal/floral bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Soft and harmonious, still rich and well balanced. Very nice.

Rocky white left a froth on an unclear pale amber coloured still body. Spiced, malt & jam aroma. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a thicker soft sticky back. Malt, toffee, jam, spiced fruit & honey tastes with a herbal finish. That's tasty.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM I think. Pours clear honey-yellow-gold with a lasting, frothy white head. Medium to big sweet flavour with rich biscuits, honey, faint caramel, sun-kissed grains. Medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Sweet finish but we’ll balanced, more brochures, light dried honey, mild floral notes. Very tasty.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is nutty honey malts, brown bread , earthy grassy hop, . Flavour is composed of semi sweet, honey monster cereal, gentle grass, brown sugars. Authentic. Palate is semi sweet, roudned, highish carbonation. Tasty

Can at home, from HOTM online, 24/11/21. Very lightly hazed orange with a good sized lasting white cap. Nose is bready malts, light herb, hedgerow, light spice, stewed fruits, just a hint of soap which lets this down a touch. Taste comprises caramel, fruit slice, biscuit, herb, bready notes, pale malts, light spice, stewed fruits. Medium bodied with a little bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid bock bier.

Can from HoTM. It pours golden / blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is toasty grain, cereal, hay, grass, biscuit, dried fruits, fig jam and fruit loaf. The taste is initially crisp, firmly dry, grassy bitterness, leafy, earthy, black tea, light tannin, floral, dried fruits, tea loaf, spicy alcohol, digestive biscuit, hob nobs and light alcohol with a toasty biscuit finish. Medium body and fine, to moderate carbonation. The more I drink it, then more I get hob nob vibes. Decent.

Can at Hoplord, Worcester, Thursday 7th October 2021, in company of Mum and Keith. Pours gold with a little bit of a chill haze, white head, looks great. Nice rich maltiness, soft moutheel, good, sweet and then dryness. Nice full body, like this Maibock.
