Tradition meets innovation in our Czech influenced Pilsner style lager, which is now brewed with a collection of exciting young British flavour hops. Generous kettle, and whirlpool hopping gives this beer a wonderful bouquet of stone fruit, citrus, and spicy pine, while the slow low temperature fermentation and long cold conditioning, rounds out the body and sets the stage for an assertive bitter finish. Unfiltered and with a deep golden colour, hop forward yet still beautifully balanced.

440ml can from House of Trembling Madness, online. Clear gold with small white head, decent retention. Aroma of sort grainy malts with a decent dose of grassy and lemon noted hops. Very solid. Taste is the same, semi sweet with a light grassy bitter bite. Nice soft pilsner malts with a touch of lemon. Decent body and carbonation much better than their 'British Lager' version. Very good pilsner.

Can from Aune Valley Farm Shop, Loddiswell. Golden with a head. Certainly a pilsner in style, nothing actually too ‘British’ about it, but it’s quite dirty tasting.

6th July 2022 Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation comes through on the back end. Light clean malts. A mild lager tang in the mid. Hops bring a light fruitiness, a little green orchard fruits with a touch of citrus. Soft pine alongside. Tastes like Jester hop but the can mentions a selection of British hops, maybe Ernest as well? Light finish. A light clean and quaffable lager that hits the spot.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from All Good Beer. Pours clear gold with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with clean biscuity malts, subtle bitter hay, pale grain. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Mellow grassy bitterness in the finish, pleasant pale biscuits, nips of straw. Enjoyable gear.

440ml can from Dart Farm: BB 12th July 2021. Bit annoyed at that, as I bought it (at full price) on 11th September. Anyway I'm drinking it now, at home on 14th September 2021 while preparing food for a Raclette we are having later. Bright, clean and clear golden body, snow white crown of billowing foam on top. Piney hop nose and taste, dry, bitter and pretty good!

Can from HoTM. It pours crystal clear lager yellow with a white cap. The aroma is spicy, grain, cereal, biscuit, floral accents and dull pine. The taste is firmly dry, crispy, snappy, some lingering bitterness, floral, grain, grass, cereal, spicy hops, dull stone fruits and a touch of nuttiness with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Not a huge amount of depth, but it is a step above the usual UK lager action. Looking forward to trying their other beers.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Clear golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of steel and freshly cut grass. Flavour of grassy hops with a bitter finish. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. Crisp and simple.

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Clear gold with a nicely sticky, bright white foam. Nose has crisp grain and bright, lemony, grassy hop leaf. Taste has a little malt sweetness backed up by a firm, clean and fresh, grassy bitterness. Light and super easy drinking. Soft, but cleansing carbonation. Firm bitterness to finish. Great lager. Could do multiples no bother.
