500ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Intense, piney and citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of pine needles, resin, spruce, rosemary, lemon, tangerine. Taste is piney and citrusy hoppy, earthy, woody notes of coniferes, spruce, pine, resin, rosemary, juicy hints of lemon, tangerine. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Very intense coniferous forest flavours - very good!

330ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Intense, earthy notes of coniferes, pine, spruce, resin, needles, a light, herbal, bath salt touch, citrusy hoppy undertones with a touch of lemon and yuzu, whiffs of ginger. Taste is moderately bitter, minimally tart-ish, earthy notes of coniferes again, pine, spruce, corresponding needles, resin, wood, a widely disguised, cautious citrusy hoppy touch of orange and lemon, some ginger spiciness, pale malty basis with subtle, residual sweetness; lingering, dry finish. Oily-watery texture, dry palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Oh, this is excellent! Very intense, but balanced, in no way overdone - the aroma of a coniferous forest put into a liquid - superb!

Thin white head left a cover on a hazy dark gold body. Orange, mint & sweet citrus aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with lighter clean back. Herbal, mint, medicinal, pine & bitter citrus tastes. Very unusual.

330ml can from Beer52: BB 14th Nov 2021. Drank at home on 20th Feb 2021. Cloudy dull yellow body, deep white head. The nose and taste have Ginger traits (can't believe the first two rates don't mention it!). There is a piney hop feel, but the over riding aroma and flavour is Ginger; or has my can been infected? Either way, I don't like Ginger in my beer!

On tap at 4Hops, Wroclaw. Hazy golden/yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of pine, oregano, spruce needles and herbs. The same in the taste. Drinkable but a little too much forest.

Blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are dominated by pine needles. Also quite herbal with rosemary and thyme. Too overpowering.

6 October 2018. At Modeste Bierfestival, Antwerp. Cheers to Anke & Elke!
Hazy orange with a lasting, unstable, frothy, off-white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of pine (resin), spruce, mango peel, cheese, somewhat dank, yeast, unripe pear, faint mint or basil even. Taste is medium hoppy bitter, piney & grassy, and light fruity sweet, apple & pear; bit cheesy & yeasty, sourish too. Dry, piney & resinous hoppy finish, balanced by a lingering yeast & forest fruit. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Well-made 'autumn IPA'.
