Tropical and bright with a full palate of flavor and a potency designed with moderation in mind, Jai Low IPA lowers the intensity of a typical India Pale Ale while maintaining the highest quality and hop flavor possible. All the qualities found in the finest IPAs, including citrus aromas and flavors, bread-like maltiness, and a moderate, snappy bitterness are found, making this beer a deceptively tempered addition to Cigar City Brewing’s line-up of hop-forward creations.

Can thanks to MrsSHIG: Poured an orange with white whispery head. Aroma is light hops, citrus. Taste is light citrus, with grain bite.

Looking forward to this. Clear amber, good foaming head. Citrus and pine nose. Very dry, with prominent hop resins, and a pretty solid whack of bitterness at the finish. Clean fermentation profile leads this almost to taste like a american-hop pilsner. Almost. Anyway, its good, and seems like something that may be an excellent match to foods. I've got 2 more so I'll check that out next time.

12 Fl Oz can: Canned on 19th Oct 2020. Drank at home on 17th Feb 2021(four months after being canned). Slightly disappointed with this to be honest. Poured a hazy orange/amber colour, decent white head. Mini-citrus nose and taste; some piny hops too, weak malty base. Just seemed like a watered down version of a proper IPA.

First of all, I'm biased against session IPAs. That said this is one of the better that I've ever had of them. Aromas are Cascade hops, citrus and a little dank. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, kind of sweet tart with a little bitterness. A wet grain finish.

Can. A lightly hazy golden colored beer with a nice white head. The aroma is grapefruity and grassy, with lime, pine cones and a biscuity maltyness. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with a good bitterness. Pale malts shining through in the flavor, but it's mostly on the hoppy side, with grapefruit, pine cones and a touch of grass. Long hop driven finish. Nice. 201231

5 week old can A: Poured a big yellow beige head that held up well atop a clear orange gold body. Patchy lace left. S: Light aroma of tangerine and wafer cookie. T: Bitter citrus pith and zest. Tangerine or orange mainly along with a toasty malt note. Not complex but surprisingly pronounced flavors. M: Light and thin with stiff carbonation and a clean finish. O: A worthy ultralight, it actually tastes like something. Worth a buy.
