Identity Theft’s been snooping around. This American Pale knows you better than your nearest and dearest. He worked out that feeble password faster than you can say ‘skimmed card’. Now he’s going to take it all. An opportunistic menace, with a juicy, tropical fruit blend of Magnum, Calypso, Chinook, Denali and Eureka hops.

18/2/2021. Can from LowCostBeer.com. Different set of hops to the description on here - Taiheke, Citra, Simcoe, Huel Melon and Centennial. Pours hazy pale golden orange with a frothy white head. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, floral, piney, earthy. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a tart touch. Moderate body, slight prickly carbonation. Growing sweetness to finish. BBD was gone but had stood the test of time pretty well.

Friday 12th Feb 2021. Out Of Date Beer tasting with my son and good lady. Eight beers from 'Lowcostbeer' (they sell old beer at knock down prices). Beer number five and this showed it's age a little; 330ml can, BBD 18th Mar 2020, so 11 months late! Light haze to the golden body, white wispy head. Fruity nose and initial taste, malts turn up mid-sip.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at THE Kris Wines. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold with a frothy, mostly white head. The aroma holds lightly jammy citrus, orange, mellow pine, bready pale malts. Light sweet flavour with notes of crackery pale malts, peach, tangerine, melon, light piney bitterness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, with more peach, nectarine, orange rind. Decent APA overall.
