Can @ Old Chapel, Darwen. Hazy golden-amber, crisp cold can pour with an underlying tropical fruitiness, aroma too, which gets more stated as it warms up

Cask at Wickstead Arms, Nantwich. Pours golden yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. Is slow to settle. Has a strange aroma that is reminscient of bran flakes ! In the mouth it is briefly sweet, before bitter hoppiness comes to the fore. Main flavour is lemon shred marmalade, along with hints of apricot, butterscotch and nuts. Finish seems t vary between bitter and sweet. It’s reasonable, if a bit strange.

[50cl bottle from the Calveley Mill Cheese Shop] A bright amber pour with a thick cream coloured head; citrus aroma; citrus taste with an immediate spicy bitterness; then a tart fruity finish with a caramel malt base and a long lasting bitter finish. A very tasty pint.

Clear amber/gold with a creamy white head and floral hops on the nose. Semi-creamy, with floral hops and bitterness nicely balanced, some light biscuit malt and sweet fruit apparent underneath

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Bear & Billet, Chester on 20th Sep 2020. Lovely clean amber body, off-white crown on top. The barrel had just come on and the beer was in a great condition, my half being the first one sold. Hoppy, fairly bitter and fruity without any citrus leanings, some piney notes too.
