On the afternoon of 26th March 2019 my wife and I tried four flights (of four beers) in the centre section of the Bagby Beer Company in Oceanside, two flights of their own beers and two flights of guests. This is one of those 16 beers. Deep golden body, wispy white head. Light malty nose with a slight floral esters or two. The taste is more malty than hoppy although there is a mild bitterness and a citrus leaning in the flavour.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear copper body that has thin golden hues and supports a thin dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up lager spicy yeasty esters and then a blend of malts and cracker like oats. The taste heads briefly into cracker before a modest level of sweet fruity esters washes it away. To midway the bitter hops kick in with soft lemon, grassy shrubs, thin berry skin and a bit of blood orange. Into the finish oat cracker surfaces again providing book ends to the experience. Solid lager with a lot of flavor.

On tap at the brewery. A bit dark golden with a white head. An easy to drink one with hops, citrus, mild pineapple and some malt. The body was medium as was the bitterness.
